Meera Makam Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Sri Lanka’s hill city Kandy. The land for the mosque was gifted to a Muslim Courtier who served the King of Kandy, Keerthi Sri Rajasinha and was completed in 1864 by a society of Muslims living in the city.
